FLAN DE QUESO

Flan de queso is a dessert that is eaten in Puerto Rico, Mexico and other Latin American countries. It is like a cheesecake type of dessert. It originated in Rome then moved to Spain before coming to the west. It is often eaten on Christmas, Birthdays and other holidays. It is a fairly simple dish to make and takes about 30-45 minutes to make; most of the ingredients can be found locally only one I couldn’t find at my family’s grocery store that was the curd powder the rest like sugar, Philadelphia cream cheese, caramel and milk.
